Our Process

Visiting Duncan’s Bath and Kitchen Center means customized attention from start to finish. Our experts take the time to get to know you and understand what your vision is for your home. When your project is in our hands, it becomes our dream, too, until it is completed and ready for your family.

Phase One: Your Showroom Visit

Your visit to our cutting-edge showroom is your first chance to explore the broad array of style options we offer at Duncan’s. We display our many products in actual settings, so you can visualize how they may look in your home.

Your visit is our first chance to get to know you. One of our expert consultants will guide you on a tour of our showroom, learn about your decorating preferences and gather details about your upcoming project. Your personal consultant will pass this information on to one of our designers, who will contact you within 48 hours to arrange an in-home consultation.

If you have already been to our showroom, you may contact us by phone to request a consultation with one of our designers. If it has been awhile since you have visited us, stop in! We make it a priority to update our showroom often to reflect the latest trends.

Phase Two: The In-Home Design Consultation

Your personal designer visits your home for a firsthand look at the space you plan to remodel. Whether a kitchen remodel or room addition, our designers can learn a lot about your style, your goals and your vision by seeing your home. Our goal is to determine how we can develop your dream within your space, and based upon a preliminary budget that we establish with you during this first consultation.

This initial consultation is free. You will see sample drawings, a portfolio of recent projects and have a chance to discuss design ideas, the extent of your project and even a preliminary timeline. There is no obligation to pursue your project based on this visit.

Your designer will use this information to create a design for your project, and invite you back to our showroom to view a scaled, detailed floor plan, elevation drawings, interpretive drawings, and specific project costs relative to this proposal. Questions? This is your chance to ask, so we can create a proposal that fits your vision.

Phase Three: Design Preparation and Documentation

With your approval, we finalize your design and prepare a final cost estimate for your project. During this phase, you will approve final changes to the proposal and sign off on the project cost. Your designer is with you throughout this process, working with you on details of products, specifications and installation plans.

At this time, we establish a payment schedule that works for you, as well as a start date, work schedule and completion date. With your deposit, we order materials and your project begins!

Phase Four: Your Dreams Come True

Once your materials arrive in our warehouse, our Dream Team of skilled craftsmen and installers can begin the work of creating your vision. Working with your designer throughout the process, you can expect a beautiful, completed project that your family will enjoy for many years.
